We will tell you all about fMRI scanning, a machine that can take pictures inside a person's brain, and our research on children's behavior. Description: The NIH Fire Department will have the facility open the entire day for tours, and displays. Attendees will have the opportunity to observe the various types of tools and equipment that the Fire Department utilizes everyday. There will be activities to support Fire Prevention, and child interest. In addition, the staff will conduct three mock firefighting demonstrations during the day, that illustrate the amount of work necessary to carry out a small part of what they do.
